Week 7

Class activity - Black and White Photoshoot

This week, we were given the opportunity to use the Photo studio on campus for class to have a photoshoot. This allowed us to experience studio lighting and setup. As I already own and use a DSLR, this photoshoot was natural for me. Below are some of my favourite shots:

REFLECTION

Overall, I enjoyed the photo recolouring a lot as I find it to be really useful in the future. Usually, we would turn photos from colour to B&W. But this time, we learned that we could turn photos for B&W to colour. This is a great skill to have as we can use it to restore old family photos and digitize them for future generations. Hearst mansion was cool as it reminded me of the green screen tourist photos that could be found in theme parks haha. The best of all was the class photoshoot as we got to experience a photo studio environment and got to interact with our classmates.
